Hunstpill Day service

Huntspill Day service is based in a rural setting in West Huntspill, providing activities for people with Learning Disabilities and autism. Huntspill delivers a variety of packages of support, from a few hours a week to five days a week.

Huntspill enables the people we support to participate in a wide range of activities which take place on site and within the local community. We are dedicated to providing support on the specific needs, choices and ambitions of the individual, following our principles of person-centred thinking. Skilled teaching and the right support enables people to achieve their full potential, building confidence and independence.

Across Hunstpill Day service we deliver a number of activities that individuals of all needs can choose to engage in. The sessions are designed to be accessible to everyone within a safe, engaging and fun environment.

Some of the activities we run include:

  • Tai Chi (supported by a qualified instructor)
  • Cookery
  • Well-being groups
  • Drama
  • involvement with Community Groups.
